Anna Paquin has been an actress in Canada and New Zealand for over a decade. Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. She was born in Winnipeg but raised in Wellington She made her first acting appearance on screen in The Piano. In this romantic drama, she was eleven years of age, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Paquin also had a role of the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's 1997 film Amistad. She played teenagers on Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000). She also was the character of the teenage groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
