Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer and singer. As an intelligent and attractive actor, Lucy Liu acts as a role model for several Asian actors who are in Hollywood who wish to make it big. Her fame was boosted by a number of popular early role in series. The most notable was her role in the Ally McBeal series, where she portrayed Ling Woo the villainous character. The actress took her initial popularity into big screen roles in films such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii In the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1. In the same time frame she also acted as the lead in a few flops at the box office such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing famous characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Small screen roles such as Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia did not yield results.
