Sheryl Underwood is an American actress as well as a comedian and TV host famous for her part as the Talk's co-host for daytime. She was born and raised in Little Rock. Sheryl is part of a clan which has experienced a variety of troubles. She spent the majority of her youth looking after her sick sister Frankie. She had a lot of issues with her mother when growing to. Sheryl states that her mother one time slapped her father over getting too close. After her graduation from college, Sheryl joined the military. She was interested in comedy. She was the first woman in history to reach the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV career in 1992 when she became a frequent guest during the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she began appearing for The Talk as co-host. She also has portrayed fictional characters in programs like Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
